Abbess '''Magdalena''' was an [[England|English]] [[Scholar|nun]] who lived in the [[Isle of Ely Monastery]] in the late 9th century.

In 870, she was the one to welcome Brother [[Ealric]] into the monastery, waking him in time for prayer and warning him that his father's name would make his life difficult at Ely.
