In the 860s, after [[Abbasid Caliphate|Caliph]] [[Al-Mutawakkil]]'s murder,<ref>''[[Assassin's Creed: Mirage]]'' – [[The Master Thief of Anbar]]</ref> the [[Hidden Ones of Alamut|Alamut Hidden Ones]] installed multiple bureaus to fight and stomp out the [[Order of the Ancients]]' influence across the city. By instruction, Rebekah later set up a bureau in the Fief of Rayasanah. [[Master Assassin]] [[Roshan]] later joined Rebekah on her investigation on the Order's presence in Karkh.<ref name = "BranchingOut"/> Along with Rebekah, [[Al-Hasan ibn Musa]] also joined the bureau as its engineer. At the bureau, both Rebekah and Roshan welcomed their fellow Hidden One [[Basim Ibn Ishaq]] and they discussed the corruption within [[The Bazaar]] and the exclusive auction, the [[Da'irat Al-mal]]. Believing their target would appear, Roshan asked Basim to follow her when he's ready to start. After discussing the ties to the [[caliph]]'s [[soldier]]s, Rebekah suggested it may be the caliph's treasurer.
