'''Feiyan Cave''' is a cave that held a secret path, created by the [[Song dynasty|Song]] [[Song military|soldiers]], to spy against the [[Mongolia]]n army during their [[Siege of Diaoyu Castle|siege]]. 

==History==
On 10 August 1259, [[Assassin apprentice]] [[Zhang Zhi]] disobeyed her mentor [[Kang]]'s orders and traversed through the cave to infiltrate the Mongolian camp and assassinate their leader [[Möngke Khan]]. However, when she exited towards the camp,<ref name="CH9">''[[Assassin's Creed: Last Descendants – Tomb of the Khan]]'' – Chapter 9</ref> Mongolian commander [[Bayan]] noticed and followed her, but fell short to her speed. Looking for the cave, he failed to find its entrance and waited for the female intruder. Although injured, Zhi managed to [[poison]] and stab [[Bayan]], who kicked the arrow further into her knee as retaliation.
