The '''Da'irat Al-mal''', also known as the '''Grand Auction''', was a yearly event that took place at the [[The Bazaar|Grand Bazaar]] in the [[Karkh]] district of [[Baghdad]]. It was where rare and precious objects were put up for auction for exclusive and potential buyers to bid for its purchase. From its inauguration, the event has attracted merchants and businesspeople from across the world, including the [[Europe|Western Europe]] and the [[Asia|Far East]].
