==History==
In 2023, thanks to documents retrieved from Abstergo's internal network by the [[DedSec]] hacker group, the Zhawang Corporation was able to reverse-engineer the [[Templars]]' Animus technology to create a similar device, which they dubbed the Brahman 3.0., after the original [[Brahman V.R.]] released by Abstergo a decade prior.<ref name="EP 114"/>

Functioning identically to a normal Animus, the Brahman 3.0 was introduced by the Corporation's director [[Claire Zhang]] to [[Noa Kim]] after the latter's mission to rescue [[Shimazu Sei]] from the [[Abstergo Genetic Research Lab]] in [[Osaka]], [[Japan]]. Noa subsequently used the Brahman 3.0 to relive the [[Genetic memory|genetic memories]] of his ancestor [[Edward Kenway]] and track down an [[Isu]] [[Temple (Isu)|temple]] in [[Cambodia]] before Abstergo.<ref name="EP 114"/>
