==History==
In 1582, the former [[Oda clan|Oda]] [[samurai]] [[Yasuke]] met with [[Oda Nobunaga]]'s former scribe [[Ota Gyuichi]], who asked for Yasuke's help to recover ''kamon'' from multiple clans to aid in his historical notes and efforts. Thus, Yasuke agreed to assist and collected nine crests from across the country, such as the ones from the [[Akechi clan]], [[Bessho clan]], [[Niwa clan]], {{Wiki|Toyotomi clan|Hashiba clan}}, [[Akiyama clan]], ''[[Ikkō-ikki]]'', Oda clan, {{Wiki|:ja:柴田氏|Shibata Clan}}, and [[Tsutsui clan]]. Returning back to Gyuichi, Yasuke gave him all the crests and received gratitude for his help. As a reward, Gyuichi gifted Yasuke the [[bow]], [[Falcon's Eye]].<ref name="A Collection of Crests"/>
