==Biography==
Having suffered from head lice, Ishida Shota was a ''shinobi'' who served under Nowaki, one of Kimura Yukari's three ''[[wikt:大将|taishō]]'' (大将, lit. "general").<ref name="All That We Leave Behind">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]] – [[Claws of Awaji]]'' – [[All That We Leave Behind]]</ref> In 1585, after Yukari's demise at [[Iwaya Castle]],<ref name="The Final Assault">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]] – [[Claws of Awaji]]'' – [[The Final Assault]]</ref> Shota and his fellow ''shinobi'' [[Inoue Yonekichi]] and [[Nitta Koheiji]] camped at a rundown residence on the [[Trail of Eshima]].<ref name="All That We Leave Behind"/>

However, the trio were tracked down by the [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']] member and [[Igan]] ''kunoichi'' [[Fujibayashi Naoe]], who was aiding [[Hattori Hanzō]]'s ally [[Konatsu]] in assassinating the remnants of the ''[[Sanzoku Ippa]]''. Naoe then promptly assassinated Shota, along with Koheiji and Yonekichi, and then acquired the spare [[bow]] [[Night's Embrace]] from his personal effects.<ref name="All That We Leave Behind"/>
