'''Al-Banat Mountain''' is a sandstone necropolis in south [[Hegra]].

==History==
The necropolis contains 29 tombs carved during the first century CE, having been popular with local notables. These tombs, visible from the city of [[Al-Ula]], had many noteworthy sculptural elements, with their triangular pediments presenting animals, such as eagles, snakes, and fish, as well as mythological creatures, such as [[Medusa]], a gorgon from Greek myth.<ref name= "DB Al-Banat">''[[Assassin's Creed: Mirage]] – [[Valley of Memory]]'' – [[Database: City Surrounded by the Dead]]</ref>

After rescuing his father, [[Ishaq ibn Khalid|Ishaq]], from the clutches of [[Nimlot]] at the [[Roman Fort Ruins]], [[Basim ibn Ishaq|Basim]] made camp at [[Ithlib Mountain]]. Ishaq, suffering from memory issues, believed he was in [[Samarra]] about to leave his young son behind and wished to see the sunrise one last time near a tomb similar to the ones in [[Al-Ula Valley]]. Deciding against breaking the illusion, Basim offered to accompany Ishaq to the tomb, leading him to Al-Banat to watch the sunrise together one last time.
