I have already raised this question on Discord and honestly was going to just do it immediately, but I wanted to double-check if everyone would be okay with merging the articles "South Korea" and "North Korea" into one article on "Korea". For one thing, both articles are essentially identical in content if we removed the litter of real-world information since one of the only mentions of Korea is in Assassin intel 4 from Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, which does not even name "North Korea" and "South Korea" exactly. As well, I know that our wiki historically has always used modern sovereign states for reference, but sometimes this just is not the most relevant to the context in which countries appear in Assassin's Creed, which is why I have been revising articles on countries these past few years to be more timeless and generalized. They do not always have to be based exactly on how the country or cultural region is organized (e.g. as different states, as one larger state, etc.) today.
In any case, it would be cleaner and more concise to just have one article on Korea and if we still want to mention the division, to have two separate sections within the article on North and South Korea.
To review, I have already split articles between a generalized country/cultural region article and a particular regime or state (e.g. France vs. Kingdom of France or French Republic; Egypt vs. Ptolemaic Kingdom; China vs. Tang dynasty). It is Wikipedia practice to have the current regime merged with the general country article, but because Assassin's Creed is more focused on historical time periods, this has proven problematic when we had situations of talking about the Kingdom of France and then linking to an article on the modern French Republic. So if at any time a historical Korean regime appears in Assassin's Creed which prompts article content on Korea across history, we will have to have a generalized Korea article anyways.
