Papal Staff Replica[edit source]
I don't think this Staff can really be the Piece of Eden Staff, because **SPOILERS** the PoE Staff was sealed beneath the Vatican prior to Ezio leaving/escaping the Vatican with Mario. Unless the Pope like excavated the Sistine Chapel to get it lol. My guess is that Alexander VI commissioned a blacksmith to make an identical look-alike so that the Cardinals wouldn't be like "Yo Alex, where's the Staff?".
