Charles Brulay

Charles Brulay (died 1801) was a French official during the French Revolution.
During the revolution, the royal crypt at Saint-Denis was looted and Brulay stole numerous relics, including King Dagobert I's jaw, a piece of King Louis IX's skull, some of King Henry III's teeth, King Philip II's hair, and one of Queen Catherine de' Medici's mummified legs, all of which he later sold at an auction.[1]
