I would like to request application for the Istruttorium as I have reached nearly 600 edits that include expanding, reformatting and rephrasing multiple articles to be both grammatically correct and easy to read. As a writer, I am always particular about word choice and grammar, thus I think I can be helpful in reviewing and correcting any article. -- GuardDog, 06:49, November 11, 2010 (UTC) Yay I have to agree with what GuardDog had said. Sure he has a lot of edits, but if you'd look at his contribs, are they much different from a normal user? Most of them are "clean ups", removing and adding categories, adding a sentence to the timeline or just adding one image. Now I know we've got two empty spots, but c'mon War, his contribs are mostly "Added space", "moved image" or "added full stop". Plus, if you look at his full contrib list, You'd see that there is OVER A MILLION blog comments/articles, userpage edits and usertalk discussions, and then after those it goes back to "moved image", etc... For us Istruttori to get noticed we wrote up whole WikiProject pages (and they're freakin' long), helped Cello with creation of Policies, created brand new articles that were important and properly formatted, fixed the IRC and many, more. You have to stray away from an average editor to become an Istruttori, and sadly, I don't think Campbell is much different yet. I know most of the current Istruttori (including myself) probably comment around on these talk pages aswell, but most of our contributions are excellent and much needed. I really wouldn't think "Adding some crap to the timeline, or added some good images after being a medal abuser" would qualify as being an Istruttori. You'd have to do better than that. As I said in the nomination's opening statement, he helped out with the timeline pages. Not only that, but he did some of my workload for me during my absence (he added them timeline images Schinnini uploaded to their respective pages) and also uploaded some of his own (great quality too). Plus, he's very active and nearly always present. Almost every Istruttori gets nominated for something special, Jasca Ducato had a huge history of rewriting articles to the best standards, and watching over every single move made to them. I had written the Policies and created many more official pages, templates, etc.. War_Clown helped alot with the WikiProjects and created many pages towards it and created templates/more. I guess the only reason I voted nay was because you're just like any other normal user, you haven't done anything really that special. "Added a few images and made a few edits to timeline pages after being a medal abuser" doesn't really seem like Istruttori material, and you don't even know how to spell Istruttori.. so, mhm. I think War's just trying to fill in the gaps into the Istruttori staff panel. So I guess you're lucky no-one really looked into your nomination in detail. You'll probably win the vote, lol. Campbel, you are a good editor, but so are a lot of other members. And while you've done good things, you're... curriculum of awesome stuff isn't nearly as extensive as I would like a Istruttore's to be. The Istruttorium is a group that by name-definition means they are a higher tier, moderators in power and teachers in mind, and as such, they msut separate themselves from everyone via their fantastic edits skills and judgement. I'm voting no, his edit history is far from exemplary, just four days ago he made an extremly pointless and stupid edit that not only broke the sourcing on the page, but that I consider to be vandalism. A large number of my edits in recent times have been reverts of his own, and although he seems to have stopped with his category plastering and stupid picture placements, he still has a long way to go in my eyes. I think I have proven myself to be worthy to join the Istruttori because I have Started to Create the Memories pages, created quite a lot of locations pages, added loads of images to pages, helped other users and I feel that I have matured greatly since I joined this wiki. Good morning, everyone. Since the beginning of this New Year I've been reconsidering my previous "no thanks", and yes I have finally come to my conclusion. My only worry when I had said no was that I couldn't be on often enough, but lately, while editing and talking with Master Sima, GuardDog and some of you others, I've come to realize that I believe to have proven that although I'm not on as often as I would like (and therefor don't get the time to make huge contributions often), my smaller edits do tend to add up and help the wiki regardless. Furthermore, although I do not make large contributions often, nearly every one of my contributions -regardless of size- have been of great quality and I believe that has to count for something because I've always believed in quality over quantity as it is. So here I request to join your ranks, to uphold the greatness of this wiki and be a respectable, good-natured editor as I have from my first day here (hopefully much more-so in the coming days/weeks/months). Yay I don't think I really need to explain, but I'll do it anyways. He may not have done really big edits, but he did many small edits of great quality. He also quickly undid vandalistic edits and is a good community person, in my opinion. I don't have to explain this decision, you all know he's worthy. But I will anyway, so far he has shown his friendliness to other users and the community, with his kindness and starts many interesting discussions among certain aspects of the AC Universe, his edits are great and are of good quality. Rome is super-active, editing articles many times a day and always watching over the place, he's always there to lend a helping hand with new articles. Hey guys, after much thinking and consideration I’ve finally decided to nominate myself. I have been in this wiki for about eight months and have done over 1,000 edits. Through time I’ve learned the ropes of the wiki and really started to become connected with the community. I’m sure that it has been noticed that I am very patient and kind to the users of this wiki and put the progression and success of our work before personal pride. Though I still have a few things to learn I will be more motivated to learn them and to be more active. Campbell430 20:28, February 9, 2011 (UTC) I too was looking into starting up a nom for Dan.. maybe Jasca is right about what he said, but Dan still shows that he can: "use the rollback ability frequently", "stop arguements (sometimes)", "help other users frequently", "teach other users how to edit frequently", "warn other users nicely before the grumpy staff wake up frequently", "handle WikiProject:Memories as Chief Editor" and best of all "put up with other user's crap and annoying questions that arose from not reading our articles.. frequently :D". And just because he doesn't stick out like a sore thumb from other good editors, doesn't mean he should be overlooked. His dedication and consistency over time has, in my eyes, proven his worth as an Istruttori. Look, none of us are perfect, but each of us offer different skills and abilites as members of staff. I'm an image man and like dealing with the community, others are great at different things, be it grammar, article revamps etc. It is this variety of personalities and abilities that help us function as a successful team. Dan is a patient, considerate, selfless user, who always puts the wiki before his own pride or recognition. I thought I'd let DanMan speak for himself though) --THIEF 21:00, February 8, 2011 (UTC) Thanks for giving me a shot Thief :), well I created more then 20 articles for the Memory project and added a bunch of info about brotherhood before the game came out, such as creating the Borgia Tower page and adding small important facts like how in brotherhood the chests contains valuable objects now. I also reported numerous vandals before this wiki expanded community wise, Cello even said at one point that I would be the leader of a group of editors that would be like vandal hunters, though it never became implemented. Like stated above I've been on this wiki for eight months which is a fair amount of time IMO, though i know it's not how long you worked here its how hard you work here. Also if i'm ever having a small conflict with anouther user i swollow my pride and tell the other user my apoligizes, admittly I still have some things to learn but I feel through time I will learn them quickly. "After a week or so of consideration, I've decided to nominate myself. Although I haven't being here for long, I believe I've made quite a mark here. My major work consists of rewording/phrasing pages, some I my most successful ones include: Bugs, Shaun Hastings, Lucy Stillman, and Rebecca Crane, though for a full list, see my user page. As well as this, I'm very social, being a regular on the IRC, and can be found there quite often. It's even being noted by a few other members that I'm very formal, and quite kind and polite when speaking to other people. I took a careful look at the edits made to the articles in his revamped list, and found a few changes that were unnecessary, and occasionally even incorrect. However, there was nevertheless an improvement to the article quality, though I just hope he continues to improve. As for the social aspect, on the other hand, he is without a doubt a commendable addition to the community. The socialness of Blaid is great, he is community-striven and is always on the IRC whenever our users are bored or in need of help.
