Verus (died 90s) was a governor of Roman Britain during the reign of Emperor Domitian.
In the 90s, the Hidden Ones in Britannia sent pleas and requests to both Verus and Domitian in regards to citizenship issues concerning the Iceni tribe. When their pleas were ignored by the Roman Senate, the Hidden Ones took matters into their own hands and sent the Acolytus Anicius to assassinate Verus.[1]
