Your blog does offer some different perspective to the ending. I honestly never thought about "Eve" concept after AC2.

Even with Desmond's death, I would like to probably have one where we control his father and we explore modern day New York City or something like that. It seemed very well pulled off in the modern day missions on AC3. Brotherhood was truly a shocker. Lucy's shift in sides was both a twist and it seemed like just a way for the developers to make her death make sense to me. The third game, I was actually kinda happy to watch Desmond fall to the floor dead. When Lucy died, my hope for an ending to the Desmond trilogy (Desmond and Lucy fall in love then we shift to a new protagonist) kinda shattered in pieces.
