Biography[edit | edit source]

Early life and career[edit | edit source]

From a young age, Camilleri was enthralled by the stories of Roald Dahl, inspired by Dahl and his many characters, he too became a storyteller. As a child, his mother enrolled him at Masquerade Theatre Arts School as a way to burn off his excess energy. He then spent ten years traveling London, the United Kingdom, and Europe performing all manner of roles. Camilleri's big break was being cast in the UK West End revival performance of Evita. He then went on to play Bishop Myriel in Les Misérables, Carlos in Legally Blonde, and later portrayed both Rocky Horror and Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show. As a day-job, Camilleri worked for Switch, a digital marketing agency, and by night acted onstage.[1]

Assassin's Creed[edit | edit source]

Following the release of the third cinematic trailer for the 2016 film Assassin's Creed on December 10,[2] Camilleri tweeted about his involvement in the film and confirmed that he would be playing King Ferdinand II of Aragon.[3] As of January 2021, Assassin's Creed remains his only film acting credit.[4]
