The Uab Block was a mace which consisted of a great block of carven metal as its head.
Named after the Uab Nome, it was accordingly common throughout Egypt during the 1st century BCE. During his hunt for the Order of the Ancients, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa commonly found this shield in the inventories of blacksmiths and on bodies and in chests during his travels throughout Egypt.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Uab Block, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins, shares the same model as Spade of all Trades, another weapon in the same game. These are both the recycled as the Giant Mace, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, and its kind. The design of the model appears to be inspired by the ceremonial Sekhem scepter.
