Requisitioned Dionysias House

The Requisitioned Dionysias House was a former residence in Dionysias in Faiyum. Once belonging to an Egyptian resident, the residence was requisitioned by the region's nomarch Berenike in the mid-1st century BCE, supposedly reserved for the influx of foreign investors.

In 48 BCE, the now guarded residence was visited by the Medjay Bayek of Siwa, who eliminated the guards and looted the valuables inside.
