Upgrade and Explore was a virtual representation of one of Ezio Auditore da Firenze's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus 2.03.

Description[edit | edit source]

Yusuf Tazim took Ezio Auditore to meet the Ottoman Assassins at their headquarters in Galata.

Dialogue[edit | edit source]

Ezio and Yusuf entered the building and saw four Assassins sitting at a table.

  • Yusuf: Mentor, say hello to your extended family.

He moved to stand at the head of the table while Ezio put his and to his heart and saluted the group.

  • Ezio: Salute a voi, Assassini. (Greetings, Assassins.) It is an honor to find such fast friends so far from home.

Yusuf clapped on of them on the shoulder.

  • Yusuf: You see brothers? Our mentor is not afraid to weep openly in front of his pupils.

Ezio sat in the remaining seat at the the end of the table.

  • Ezio: Do not worry. I will not make a habit out of it.
  • Yusuf: Ezio and I were ambushed on our way here. I'd like some of you to do a sweep of the area. Hemen. (Immediately.)

He waved his hand and the four Assassins scrambled to follow his orders. Yusuf walked back to Ezio.

  • Yusuf: And you, Ezio. Your weapons and armor are in a pitiful state. Maybe find some money and repair what you can. There is a blacksmith nearby. He's a friend.
  • Ezio: Buona idea. (Good idea.)

Outcome[edit | edit source]

Ezio met the Ottoman Assassins in Galata and had his gear upgraded or repaired at a local blacksmith's, then returned to Yusuf at the guild.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

This memory is one of the few that cannot be replayed from the DNA menu.
