Nyoirin-ji

Nyoirin-ji is a Buddhist temple located in southeastern Yamato, Japan.

History[edit | edit source]

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke traveled to the temple and collected three lost pages scattered across its grounds. While there, Naoe found a place to conduct her kuji-kiri meditations. They later found and climbed a nearby wayward trunk that served as a viewpoint over the province.[1]
