The Silver Foothills was a region of the island of Thasos, Greece. If Cape Marmaron was the source of fine marble, Silver Foothills were, as their name suggested, a good source of silver.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the region.^[1]
