"Dear Amun, help me."
―Kett seeking courage to fight the bandits.[src]-[m]

Kett was an Egyptian farmer who lived during the reign of Ptolemy XIII.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Kett lived in the village of Siwa during the 1st century BCE. Like many villagers, he relied on the spring in the Amanai Cave to water his crops. However around 48 BCE, the spring was claimed by bandits. The villagers were extorted in order to gain access to the spring itself.[1]

When the Medjay Bayek returned to the village, he was able to help Kett and the other villagers eliminate the bandits, thus freeing the spring to the village again. Kett expressed his thanks to Bayek, remarking that it was great to have their protector again.[1]
