Assassins Creed is at its lowest point right now. But not even the technical side makes Unity a bad game it is more than that, the protagonist was pretty one sided and the gameplay is way too similar to all AC games and the story was not a stand out. By the time of Revelations the all round game play was getting stale so they introduced the naval battles and sailing mechanic and the series got more popular. I am glad we have gone back to big cities and that they are moving on from sailing now but the series needs something new other than 4 player co op. 

I will always love the series but with the general public this franchise is not special anymore. The user ratings for Unity on Metacritic is just sad, 2.5/10 on the PC.
