Hah, I actually don't mind the idea of Shay/Liam, but there's been NOTHING for that ship so far. It's all Shay/Haytham, unfortunately. It's Aveline/Connor all over again -  a ship that was born pre-release but has no actual canonical material that "could" support it. Well, at least Shay and Haytham spoke to each other more than once in person anyways.

And I didn't see the Hope/Liam thing until I transcribed the last memory of Rogue. I'd heard the thing about Hope's body, but I didn't know he could then say it again "How could you do this to us? How could you kill Hope!". So maybe there was something there.

I was actually quite pleased with the fact that Hope was mentioned at least once in every memory following her death (except the finale in Versailles obviously). Wish we could say the same for Kesegowaase :P
