I don't know.. Edward is awesome, but if he is a pirate, I guess that means he will steal and acumulate fortunes for himself, maybe killing inoccents... it doesn't sound right according to the Assassin's philosophy. (Sure, all the previous assassins stealed money and suff but not as much as Edward is going to, I presume)

We all know what hapenned to the Templars when they became too avarent in AC2 and ACB, Abstergo even called that period "The Dark Age" of their order..

Could this be the Assassins'  "dark age"?? We can see in AC3 that they are a pretty weak order by that time and place.. maybe because of Edward's actions?? Well I don't know... Well maybe I'm wrong and Ed will just kick ass no matter what he does...
