You never know man. Say that it is the ending. Maybe Cesare takes Ezio's life with him, and then we find out that the girl he was sleeping with in the beginning (forgot her name) was prego with his child, and generation after generation till it gets to Desmond. Most likely they wont do that, but you never know.
