It would have been a lot easier to understand your statement if you put in a comma.Just sayin what I'm thinking.Also, Ubisoft DID choose that name for him.Theres no playable main character that in Assassins Creed wasn't created by Ubisoft, though most of the history is true with out all the conspiricies and Apple of Eden involved.
