Wow, that all sounds very interesting.

I included the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars in my 'Historical Events' tab because they were huge events in Europe taking place during the Industrial Revolution. Like you said, in an actual game, they should not be incorporated, but I included them to show that they should be at least referenced.

When I was trying to come up with events for the game, I was making sure I looked at as much of Europe and for the largest span of time as possible. That's why I included the Crimean War, because it was fairly important at took place at around about the time most people say is the end of the Industrial Revolution. Though yes, I suppose I could research more events that took place in Britain 1830-1850.

For the 'abolition of slavery' event, I simply thought it would be interesting to see if Assassins or Templars possibly played a part in this. Also, I thought it would make a very interesting change in atmosphere around Britain; but yes, we would have to move outside of the British Isles and into the empire (e.g. the Caribbean) to witness the full extent of this change, as that is where most slaves were held.

I think your idea for an 'Industrial Revolution Trilogy' does sound very interesting, though I'm not sure how most fans would react to another Ezio-style sequence of games (that is, no huge change in the time period). In my opinion though, it would be great as the Industrial Revolution is one of my favourite settings for a game (along with Russian Revolution, French Revolution and Tudor England).
