An easy way out for Ubisoft would be to play 'Star Wars', meaning: fall back on the saga's backstory. Personally I would like to see a game focused on Clay Kaczmarek -- and since his name is suggestingly Polish or Eastern-European we could explore the truly interesting (yet rarely explored) ages of Partitioned Poland, pre-WW1 Eastern Europe, or even take the shot and divulge into WW2 with a (preferably) German assassin.
