For me I think Jose Rizal should actually survive his execution, and that he is the friend of the main protagonist living with him in secret. I perfectly agree with you in the fact that it should happen in the Spanish era. I think the protagonist should travel around the Philippines in all the three regions (Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao) . He could buy different weapons from different provinces since Philippines has different ethnic groups. I tink the story line should become something like his mother was raped by a Spanish general. The resulting child being the main protagonist. His mother died when he was young. For that he becomes a hobo and he knows hoe to steal from people pick locks and all of those skills. Somewhere when he is twelve he tries to steal from Emilio Aguinaldo in his secrect room. Much like Ezio's Father's secret room where he does his secret assassin work. Emilio realizes him forcing him to join the brotherhood and Katipunan by death threat. Emilio trains him as Katipunan not as the brotherhood. When the protagonist's training is finished he has to choose 4 weapons ( Namely a pair of balisongs, a Spanish pistol, barong (leaf knife) the blade being the Assassin's insignia and a Lumad panabas) he automatically gets a Katipunan bolo and a hidden blade the blade is a kris ( the kind of kris with a wavy bottom and a straight top). The protagonist must meet Rizal in some point. Rizal is much like Da Vinci to Ezio as to the protagonist and Rizal taught him Spanish. Bonifacio must be a Templar as he got executed under the orders of Aguinaldo. Our protagonist is a black belt in mutiple Filipino martial arts. LIke all Katipunans he must fight for freedom of the Philippines. He has five disguises. HIm as a Spanish, a Farmer, a hobo, a Katipunan, and a assassin. He does not forget the skills he got when he was still a hobo. When the Katipunan whon the Revolution and he found out that they are now under American control he joins the war against the Americans.
