The Atoll Point Ruins was the former site of a temple located on Atoll Point in the 5th century BCE.

History

At some point, a woman calling herself Circe claimed the ruins as the residence of herself and the animals enthralled to her: wild boars, lions, and pigs. There she lured wanderers and poisoned them, taking their valuables. The only exception to this was apparently Leda, with whom Circe drank wine late into the night, and was left with her bracelet.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War, the ruins were explored by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who was looking for Leda on behalf of Barnabas.[1]
