Athenian Gauntlets
The Athenian Gauntlets was a pair of gauntlets which originated from Athens during the 5th century BCE, mainly worn by its soldiers.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra obtained these gauntlets during her travels.[1]
