DDDDD, these ropes are not left for ezio because Altair had no idea about him then, only when he got the apple, he might have seen the vision about Ezio and then tought about leaving something for him. Like walking in the battlefield of masyaf (in the AC R cinematic trailer) and looking at Ezio, then Ezio after 300 saw him.
