Forum:Italics in work titles
In various other wikis (including the Wikipedia and Wookieepedia) article names for pages that require italics (videogames, movies, novels, comics, boats, etc.) are depicted in italics in the title themselves. (Here's a pertinent example.)
Now, I wanted to ask if this wiki should follow suit?
Also, in case anyone is wondering this is possible in Wikia wikis by default by using the magic word DISPLAYTITLE. For example, if this were to be done on the Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China page, the page would have {{DISPLAYTITLE:''Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China''}} (or, more easily {{DISPLAYTITLE:''{{PAGENAME}}''}}) which would display the title of the page itself in italics.
Here's a little demonstration.
So what do y'all think? --Zero-ELEC (talk) 04:55, April 27, 2015 (UTC)
I think someone proposed this before a while ago, and if I recall correctly, the general consensus was that the difference was not really large enough for most people to really care - so the subject was dropped, I believe. As for me, I am wholly indifferent whether we do or do not implement this. Nesty Contact me! 09:13, April 27, 2015 (UTC)
