While that is certainly possible, I think for consistencies' sake it'd be better to use the Assassin insignias for some and not others. Besides, in my mind there's more to the universe than the Assassins and therefore I'd say it's better to reflect that in these images. That way, it's also very much possible to make eras for Assassins, Templars and Instruments; after all, I don't see why they shouldn't get eras.
