I haven't played the DLC (yet), but I've heard that Jacob is supposedly playable. From what I've seen, he's kidnapped by Jack at the beginning and not released until the end. Can anyone confirm this?

Basically, yes.

I beat the whole DLC yester 100% and it's Jack that's playable not Jacob
