I hoping they are exploring that aspect in Starrick's character, because it seems to reflect the same type of paranoia that Sibrand dealt with. He was one of the most interesting and morally ambigious Templars from the first game IMO since he displayed a fear for death that none of the others did and simply tried to fulfill his duty to the Order. Killing the scholar showed that paranoia had got the best of him, and I'd love to see something like that explored more in-depth with Starrick.
