I've noticed that on the wiki, everyone just assumes that Altair's Codex map and the globe projections from the Apple in AC1 and the boxes in AC Rogue and Chronicles India are maps of Pieces of Eden. But isn't it more likely that all those maps were actually maps of the Temples/Vaults and not the Pieces? Because in AC2 when Ezio looks at the Codex map, he discovers the location of the Vatican Vault not a Piece of Eden. And also in Rogue, the map projected by the box shows Shay a temple in Lisbon, which is again not an actual Piece of Eden. Certain pages on the wiki also talk about how Clay mentions in the glyphs that the Shroud is PE #66, yet there are only about 50 locations on the maps, going on to say that perhaps it was a mistake or something. I think most likely it wasn't a mistake and that all along the maps were actually of the temples and not the individual pieces. What do you guys think?<ac_metadata title="Codex map and projections from Pieces of Eden"> </ac_metadata>
