Hey everyone, Justin Kurzel, the man directing Assassin's Creed, was asked about the film while promoting Macbeth at Cannes. He confirmed here filming is still set to begin in August, and acknowledged "It’s exciting because it’s a completely different genre [to Macbeth]. But it deals with really big and interesting themes, which the game kind of taps into."
