So apparently the next main Assassin's Creed game is set in Ancient Egypt and will skip 2016, as part of a possible series slowdown

and

there is also some other infos (protagonist, gameplay style,...) posted by a guy saying that he is part of the developement team working on the new game<ac_metadata title="Next AC for 2017, codename Empire, featuring Egypt"> </ac_metadata>
