In Reality The Templars Are Christian and the Assassins Are Muslim. but not in the game itself. people need to understand the fact that Assassin's Creed is All lies about the History of the Knights Templar and the Hashashin (Assassins) because in reality: the Templars are protectors of christian pilgrims when the Assassins are Drug Addicted Shia Muslim Hitmen for hire. so in reality: Templars are Not Dictators and the Assassins are not Freedom Fighters. im a catholic christian myself and i took Assassin's Creed too seriously that it made me want to join a Protest group in france against Ubisoft Called: Crusaders Against Ubisoft because Ubisoft is antagonizing christianity and is potraying muslim terrorists as heroes. ubisoft should of thinked twice before they chose the Assassins as the heroes and protagonists instead of the Templars as Villains and Antagonists. so its a true fact Assassin's Creed Is Anti-Christian. the Uneducated brainashed Fanboys and fangirls of the game dont understand the fact that assassins creed is based on an Islamic Group called the Hashashins. read a history book everyone and you'll understand the Templars are christian heroes and the Assassins are muslim terrorists. Deus Vult.

Here is a way they could have avoided all of this controversy: Instead of the "Multicultural Disclaimer" they added (which never actually said Catholics or Christians were involved, only that religious people were invovled (because all religious people respect other's religions right?... The centuries long persecution of christians by the Pagan roman emperors must have never happened then...)), they could have simply stated this instead:

"This game is a work of fiction that was inspired by historical events and characters. One that we would liken to something thought up by a basement dwelling, conspiracy theorist, who gets his information from online anime forums. These portrayals are meant only to make a compelling story, if you want to know what these groups and people were like in the real world, go read some history books."

Notice, this specifically states that none of this is to be taken seriously, instead of vaguely saying that "Inspired by historical events and characters. This work of fiction was designed, developed and produced by a multicultural team of various religious faiths and beliefs."

Here is what is better through an analyzation of both statements:

"Inspired by historical events and characters. This work of fiction was designed, developed and produced by a multicultural team of various religious faiths and beliefs."

1. Historically Inspired (This is fine)

2. Work of Fiction (just stated, anybody can just state this, and they can also be lying)

3. Various religions among staff (not nessecarily Catholics or part of the team of Writers)

1. Historically Inspired (Still an ok statement)

2. Work of Fiction (elaborated on in next point to point out the ludicrous story)

3. Likened to an idiot's work (very important point here, this story is unbelievably fictionalized)

4. Meant only to make a compelling story (It is just a story! A piece of fiction! Nothing is implied!)

5. If you want facts, you will find them elsewhere (this is not a history lesson, it is a game!)
