Or even AC Japan... maybe with a small mix of China in it. Plot could be like Rebecca's wounded and needed healing, and somehow - out of twists and turns unknown - they ended up in China, and some hospital got them in and nursed them to health. Turns out the staff that took them in and cared for them knows who they really are, and acknowledges full well about the feud between Assassins and Templars, tells them that China should be the last place an Assassin to travel to for Templars and their creed of order and stability be the most popular thoughts and every one in the country(him included) is more or less a Templar, but will not message the Templar high-ranks about their presence. Then he send them on to Japan, where the new adventure begins... That way China can be a passing-by note with a slightly positive appearance without touching sensitive subjects, a few authentic Chinese voices can be done in voice acting in place of other "nauseatingly fake" ones, and AC Japan comes voila! Thoughts crazy, but intriguing - well, at least for me. Feels good getting this out of my head.
