Well, I sometimes thought that real-life weapons and military vehicles could be quite redundant and convoluted too, so I don't think having PoE after PoE is that unrealistic. Aside from non-fictional examples, in Star Wars, sometimes it seems like factions develop and manufacture a redundant variety of warships and tanks, but then I look to real-life, like at the U.S. military for example, and I realize it's kind of what you call "truth in television".

You guys know how many varieties of swords and polearms have been created throughout history? Just look at the weapons in Unity. All those are based on real weapon types.

Anyways, where I'm going with this is that, just as there's a trident and there's a staff and there's a spear and there's a sword, there can be a Trident of Eden, a Staff of Eden, a Spear of Eden, a Sword of Eden, and an weaponized fruit (hehe) of Eden. Perhaps every weapon that the Isu produced and wielded had special powers; that was simply the standard for their equipment. To us, these Pieces of Eden all seem unique and special and therefore it's redundant to have so many varieties of them with similar powers, but for the Isu, it was just as what we might think of different models of firearms, different types of swords, and different types of polearms, the only difference is that all of theirs were more powerful.

I'm not so sure I understand what you mean though actually because I think the statement that the Pieces of Edens' abilities overlap too much and should be spread out kind of contradicts the statement that the Pieces of Eden are too specific with their functions.

But then to be honest :3 I haven't read whatever this post is referring to, so I'm just butting into this blindly lol.
