I was replaying AC Rogue to see if it was ever mentioned what happened to Olivier Garneau.

I played up to the part where the researcher talks to Lemay. When the cut scene was over I decided to stick around to see if she would say anything else.

She says three different things after the conversation, one of which includes Olivier.

However, it doesn’t make sense to me. She says:

“Please don’t fail me like Olivier did.”

I don’t understand how Olivier could have failed Lemay.

Lemay worked for Olivier.

Does anyone understand what she means by this? Am I miss understanding something?

Or is it just random script that doesn't mean much?
