This template is intended to replace usage of "<nowiki>" tags when text written in italics requires a Possessive S. For example:

• The ''Jackdaw''{{'}}s captain was named Edward Kenway.

generates:

• The Jackdaw's captain was named Edward Kenway.

with a tiny amount of space before the possessive apostrophe to avoid colliding with the italic w at the end of Jackdaw.
