- The Assassin Yataghan sword was the equivalent of the Common Sword from Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood, being the first and weakest sword Ezio acquired.
- Even with a different weapon equipped, Ezio would appear to have the Assassin Yataghan sword during the cutscenes inside Altaïr's library.
- A pair of swords resembling this weapon were made available to purchasers of the Season Pass for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag as part of the Crusaders & Florentines Pack. They were listed under the title "Ezio's Swords".
