Assassin Yataghan Sword
The Assassin Yataghan Sword was a weapon owned by the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze in the Renaissance, taken with him on his pilgrimage to Masyaf. Considered a "traditional" weapon by many members of the Renaissance-era Assassin Order, it was, nevertheless, one of the weakest swords of its time.
Confiscated by the Byzantine Templars on Ezio's capture, it was stored in the same location as his Hidden Blades. After Ezio had escaped his execution by hanging at one of Masyaf's watchtowers, he retrieved both the sword and the Hidden Blades from a room nearby.

Trivia
- The Assassin Yataghan Sword is the equivalent to the Common Sword from Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood, which is the weakest sword in those games and is acquired automatically, rather than having to be purchased from a blacksmith.
- Despite its name, none of the other members of the Assassins that Ezio encountered wielded this type of sword.
