He stood on the edge, staring into the vastness out before him, the mountains standing tall and stoic around him.  In his left hand a blade, plain and simple, yet elegant in its own way, and in his right, a small blade retracted back with the flick of his wrist.  His white robe flowed like the white caps on a vast ocean.  There was no sound, save for that of a lone eagle calling out, beckoning him to spread his wings and fly.  He let out a breath, calm and easy, all the while there was chaos behind him.  This was where he lived, where he thrived; with chaos on one side of him, and harmony on the other; in between the yin and yang.  The clang of steel drawn from hilts and stomp of feet hard running towards him grew louder, and he that now was the time.  Yet, he wanted to breathe it all in, just a little longer…  Seemingly at the last second, he stepped into the nothingness before him, aware of nothing but the call of the eagle, who had beckoned him to join him in flight.

Name - Akane-Ryuunosuke Jiro

Time Period – Before 1600 AD…  The reason for this is because in history, the Japanese cut off the Christian missions from entering the country, which could possibly be attributed in this fan fic by the growing power of the assassin’s in Japan.  Could we go into corruption after this?  Absolutely, would make for a great plot and a bit of a nod to Altair and his mentor’s betrayal of the Brotherhood. This could almost even play into a kind of need of the Templars.  They’re still technically the ‘bad guys’, but they may be necessary in order to keep a necessary balance to things.  Just tossing ideas around.
