This is Chopper Read. Chopper guards my talk page. Post spam, vandalism, and other assorted crap and Chopper will get his patent "Chopper's Kitchen Bolt Cutters" out and crush you; "fuckin whamo!" He will then remove any trace of your existence with his patent "Hey Presto, Off You Fucking Pop: Noob Remover", which tells hard to remove noobs to "fuck off!" So behave in the presence of Chopper Read. No "Stefans" allowed.

Alright. I finished the revamp of Gaspar de la Croix. Let me know if you think it's better than Manuel was. Thanks! ~DarkFeather There will be blood -- just make sure it's the right person's. 15:24, April 16, 2012 (UTC)

Hey there!

I made an earlier edit which included Harash as an assassin who became a templar, and you edited the article to remove Haras as an assassin who became a templar. No offense, but I think both of these guys (who share oddly familiar names) should be listed as assassins who defected to the side of the templars because in Harash's article explicitly states "Harash secretly defected to the Templar Order," and Haras' article says "[Haras] defected to the Templar Order after becoming dissatisfied with his slow progression through the Assassin ranks." So, wouldn't both of them be considered Assassins who betrayed their brethren by becoming Templars?

Haras is quoted saying something along the lines of, "I cannot betray those who I never truly loved." That indicates that he never had any loyalties to the Assassin Order. As for what is written on his page, if I recall correctly, he was a Templar who infiltrated the Assassins to learn their secrets.. and whatnot. Eventually he would have organised a siege on the town to try and wipe out the Assassins. However, due his slow progress, he believed that the operation was becoming a tedious failure, and decided to reveal himself and orchestrate an early attack. Still, I'll check with our Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia to be sure. Also, instead of doing those massive links, such as [http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Haras Haras], do them like this, [[Haras]], and if you want it to link to, for example, Altaïr's article, but don't want the page to show the full "Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad", you would do [[Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad|Altaïr]]. -- 'R BlaiddDdraig Funk Man's Funky House of Funk 06:25, April 18, 2012 (UTC)
Alright, I get what you're saying about Haras now :P and thanks for the tips on linking, I'm still getting used to this wiki-editing stuff :)

Apprentice Page

Hey, I was reading the Apprentice page to see what requirements are needed in order to sign up, and I was wondering if you could clarify a few things for me.

What does it mean by "mainspace edits", and how big do the major edits have to be?

Will edits on Fanons still count to the 250 required edits?

With the questions asked during the interviews, what will the "Community" questions be about?

If you could help me out it would be much appreciated. Thanks. Arcemz 09:58, April 18, 2012 (UTC)Arcemz

Mainspace edits are edits done to our main articles on the Assassin's Creed series. No Forums, Blogs, User page, Talk page, etc, edits count as mainspace. Major edits are things such as full page revamps, or adding vast amounts of information.
The 250 is total edits, which means edits to everything and anything go towards that. Obviously, this includes Fanon.
And... Community questions will be questions about... the Community. Can't really make it any more simple than that without telling you the questions... -- 'R BlaiddDdraig Funk Man's Funky House of Funk 10:19, April 18, 2012 (UTC)
Awesome, thanks for the feedback. So basically community questions are about who's who on the wiki, and how to respect and treat other fans of the series? Arcemz 11:21, April 18, 2012 (UTC)Arcemz
More so the latter. I can't reveal to much, you'll find out once/if you sign up. -- 'R BlaiddDdraig Funk Man's Funky House of Funk 11:30, April 18, 2012 (UTC)
Got it. Thanks. Arcemz 11:31, April 18, 2012 (UTC)Arcemz

Could you help with the sign-up? Because it keeps going outside the box and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Also, I've done 200 edits on articles, I'm not sure why it says otherwise? Arcemz 03:38, April 20, 2012 (UTC)Arcemz

Do it in Source Mode and make sure it's above the <div> tag. According to this Edit Counter, you don't have 200. -- 'R BlaiddDdraig Funk Man's Funky House of Funk 03:45, April 20, 2012 (UTC)

Ok, I'm not sure why it said I had 201 edits on my page, but I continued editing according to the Edit Counter and I've reached the required amount. Sorry about the mess-up, but thanks for the help. Arcemz 07:03, April 20, 2012 (UTC)Arcemz

Templar or Templar-owned?

Hey Blaidd, one thing that confuses me is that on Vali and Gaspar, the term was changed from Abstergo being Templar-owned to just a Templar company.

However, when you look at Abstergo Files, it mentions in the first Dossier that not every employee at Abstergo is a Templar and the majority of the people working there are unaware of the affliation that Abstergo has.

With that in mind, due to the small division of Templars in there (the Inner Sanctum), wouldn't it be more understandable that it's "Templar-owned" when you take the total workforce there into consideration? Slate Vesper 20:30, April 21, 2012 (UTC)

Holy shit Slate, you've got to be kidding, surely your could find something else more productive to do than point this out...
Abstergo is a Templar company, it is run by Templars, adding an "owned" to the end of it is just trivial. Like putting the "Mentor" title before Ezio's name, you can take it or leave it, and is such a small concern that to actually pick at it like you've done here is ridiculous. I just happened to be editing those pages for other reasons, so when I saw "owned" at the end of "Abstergo" I took it away simply because it wasn't really necessary and sounded a bit better without it. If it was significant enough to bring into question I would've changed it on all the MP pages, but it's such a tiny detail I never believed that anyone would actually care. -- 'R BlaiddDdraig Funk Man's Funky House of Funk 02:01, April 22, 2012 (UTC)
Quite honestly Blaidd, I wasn't going to at first, but I figured I'd just ask for consistency across the articles. If you say it's not that important to consider, it's as simple as someone going along to cut all those parts out. After all, it's best to do that to clear the air, instead of having people getting the wrong impression like I may have done.

I would prefer it if you didn't try and psycho-analyse me though. Sometimes, some people just have to think things through and try and connect all the links, in order to find a solution that appeals to them, just as much as others are content with taking things at face value.
