Holy crap people, let the crossbow thing DIE. It's not in the game, no reason to make me crazy trying to make-up random bullshit about it and putting it on the wiki. xyrth 15:51, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Wheee!!! 21 days later it happens again. xyrth 16:26, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

One thing that might be valuable to know is that Altair can counter attack with his fists. He punches the opponent repeatedly and stabs them with his hidden blade. --Digipatd 20:17, 29 March 2008 (EST)

He can? I knew he could counter-attack with the hidden blade, but the fists too? I'll have to try that.Imperialscouts 03:10, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Isn't it a Katar? It's so written in the German Wikipedia article! -->> Graman Wikipedia Assassin's Creed --84.169.104.155 18:49, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Reason for changing

I couldn't find another site saying you could use the crossbow and the editor was obviously spamming.

Not a Katar, not fists

The Katar is not what he uses, only something similar to it. Look up what a Katar is and you'll understand the differences. The blade the Assassins use is pure fiction.

Also, the fists are not a weapon. Well, you can try to attack an enemy using punches like a thug you beat for interrogation missions, but against an armed guard it is suicide -- there is no counter or block, and attacks do little damage. However, using the hidden blade allows one to use it for counterattack only (or when an enemy is boasting/distracted and can be jumped on and assassinated).

Please, People...

Has anybody here heard of grammar? Whatever it is, this article is atrocious in terms of punctuation and run-on sentences. If anybody could clean this up... DarkSmasherElite 22:13, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

OK so...

What was the point of splitting the list into AC1 and AC2 weapon pages, if they all link back to the same articles?
