Talk:Niccolò Machiavelli
where does it say he is the leader of the mercenaries in florence? his first appeaance is in vinice, second in forli, and yes, he is leading mercenaries, but so is sforza, and ezio leads mercenaries all the time. finally thrid in florence, leading the people with paola, but La Volpe isnt there, so its not like "the faction leaders of florence" or anything. at Ezio's "swearing in" thing in the tower after the first fight with Borgia, Machiavelli is leading the finger-burning ceremony, making him seem more important than the others, i assumed he was the leader of all the italian assassins, cause obviously Ezio wasnt yet, why else would he only appear toward the end of the game, and then be so important (in both dlc things) once he showed up? Isnt mario leader of mercenaries? i know he doesnt live in florence, but he lives closeby, and he teaches you to fight, just as paola teaches you to blend and La Volpe teaches you free-running. - Good point. It isn't. Feel free to remove it. -- D. Cello 03:58, June 6, 2010 (UTC)
Wait. nevermind. it is sourced in the article... my bad... sorry. :( CarloGrimaldi 08:00, June 6, 2010 (UTC)
- O-okay. XD -- D. Cello 19:44, June 6, 2010 (UTC)
- Nope. It may have been before, but whatever it was has been removed. 98.192.42.30 22:55, October 14, 2010 (UTC)
Mixed Up Qoute
At the top of the page with the quote of Machivelli introducing himself to Ezio. As it reads now, it would mean that Ezio is introducing himself as Machiavelli...as Machiavelli.
I've tried to fix it myself, but the quote doesn't appear in the edit box, even when trying to edit the page in full.
Age
Who did the math there... for him to have been 27 in 1488 he would have been born in 1461... which he wasn't. And then following that, for him to be 31 in 1500 is ridiculous. He'd have had to have been born on the 29th of february and had only 4 birthdays in 12 years. There's the maths.
wtf, guys
A link back to the main Brotherhood page is not a source. Seriously, people? 98.192.42.30 22:51, October 20, 2010 (UTC)
- Since when is "seriously people" a question? And for the sake of simplicity, I just put the reference to AC: Brotherhood there because (guess what?) it appears in AC: Brotherhood! I know it's not out yet, but once the game comes out within less than a month, we're going to have to chance all the references to the interviews revealing bits of information on the game back to references to the game itself. -- Master Sima Yi 05:39, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
Historical stuff
Shouldn't we just remove all the historical stuff from the trivia section? AC is about alternative events in history, a new take on how events could have went. It's about that historians may not be entirely right on what has happened in history and therefore, I think the historical things don't need to be here. -- Master Sima Yi 09:34, October 29, 2010 (UTC)
Anyone else a bit suspicious?
Machiavelli seems to be a lot more cynical, and speaks rather harshly to Ezio in the videos we've seen. Since he apparently loved the Borgias IRL, is it possible that he becomes a traitor? CryptoKiller 10:16, November 1, 2010 (UTC)
